Race, Race, Race

Since moving here all we have heard about is racing. Randy has been bitten by the racing bug and is training for his first sprint triathlon. The race is on Saturday and he is ready.
The kiddos and I are excited to cheer him, on posters and all. We've had some practice cheering for Dawn and Jady at their sprint race, and for Aunt Cheris at the St George marathon. We were lucky to take Aunt Janet to the St George marathon and spend some time on the way up.

GO, Daddy, GO!!

Dawn - Logan ran in with his mom...
totally choked me-up!

Aunt Janet and Mason waiting for Cheris to finish little did we know Cheris was waiting for us. Speedy, speedy. Janet was waiting for her friend Heather to finish. Heather snuck up on us excited for her diet coke.

Cheris (the rock star on the left) and her friend Michelle.

Jady finishing the Lake Las Vegas tri.

The Kiddos and I, along with grandma and grandpa Erickson stayed with Aunt Sara and Uncle Kevin in Gunlock Friday night. Mason loved playing cards with grandma and grandpa Erickson and loved playing with cousin Derrick. Maryn loved playing with Kaydee and Samantha. We all loved to hear Sammy play the piano. I loved every second seeing family. Race day we met up with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Erickson, Uncle Andy, Matt, Drew and Regan waiting to cheer Cheris in. After the race we grabbed lunch with everyone else in St George at In N Out Burger and played at the park for hours.

Triathalon's always sounded fun, well at least the biking and swimming part. Any one who wants to run that long more power to them. Hope you are loving Vegas. Miss ya. John and Jessica
