Moving to Gibbon

We have packed our bags/house/lives once again. With that said, I will continue our sad pathetic story of Lomax's vs. Las Vegas housing...The housing market is still winning.

Our landlords let us know they had found renters that would sign a contract for two years. We are month to month, still waiting on our short sale to go through on our home. We have been waiting since April, and now it is the beginning of August...We thought we would be out of our rental house by now. Apparently so did they...

We were hopeful to move in to our dream home within the next few weeks so we wouldn't have to find another rental. We asked the owners of the short sale to rent the home to us. They didn't respond. They had not responded to anything in five weeks!

Feeling stressed/on the verge of a panic attack., I knew that we would be taken care of, and things would work out. We packed up the house on Sienna Valley not knowing where we were going to live.

We have had a lot of "firsts" moving to Vegas. The top two: Being kicked out of a home and being the topic at ward council.

The last weekend of August showed up fast, and Randy and I were freaking out. We had not found a place to stay and we were needing to move in three days.

Our sweet bishop called to let us know there was a place in his neighborhood for rent. He called the number on the for rent sign to see if it was available. He passed on the info to us immediately.  I went and saw the place the next day. It was perfect. (anything was perfect!)The woman showing me the place was taken back with my urgency to get credit looked at and contracts signed. After paper work was signed we got a key and started moving in.

Luckily, we have these two to keep our spirits up. They refer to the house we moved out of as the "last big house". The home we just moved into is the "little house". They are sad to not have the same amount of space, but they are happy to have a place to put their beds. So am I.
